Meet the Owner
Terry Stewart was born and raised in Peace River, Alberta. He spent his teenage years as an entrepreneur and worked on a number of oil rigs. One of his early ventures included working for “Slum Productions” as a booking agent for up-and-coming musical talent. He booked bands such as Trooper, April Wine, and Bryan Adams before they hit the big time.
Terry began working for Christie Biscuits (Nabisco) in 1981 as a salesman in Edmonton, Alberta. In 1986, he married Wanda. Later he was transferred to Halifax, Nova Scotia, where his daughter Allison was born in 1988, and son Parker in 1992. Shortly after the birth of his son, Terry was transferred to Toronto, Ontario to become a sales manager. In 1995, Terry was transferred a final time to Vancouver, BC, where he was soon promoted to branch manager for the entire province.
In 2000, Kraft Foods purchased Nabisco, which caused extensive restructuring. This prompted Terry to pursue his interest in purchasing a franchise. His research led him to Express Employment Professionals, and after his Discovery Day, he knew this was the business for him. In November of 2004, Terry opened the doors of the Cloverdale/Langley office with his wife. The rest, as they say, is history.
Terry is an active member of his community. He has coached his son's minor league hockey team since 1999. He is an active member in both the Cloverdale Chamber of Commerce and the Surrey Chamber of Commerce.
Terry enjoys spending time with his family and walking his dog, as well as gardening and landscaping.
